Yesterday, I mentioned the Catholic World News story about rumors of big changes in the Roman Curia.
Today, I can say that I’m fairly confident the announcement of a new Secretary of State will be made by June 23. How can I say this? Let’s just say that something happening on that date would let the cat out of the bag regardless.

Is June 23 the 75th or 80th birthday of some particularly important Cardinal?
Last week a delegation of Cardinals went in to see B16 to argue against Genoa being named to State, because he had little diplomatic ability.
They were promptly told that B16 had made up his mind already.
This is not to say Genoa is in, but change is coming!
