Pope Benedict is coming to the United States. The Vatican announced today that he had accepted United Nations Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon’s invitation to visit UN headquarters in New York.
No date was set, although sometime in October during the General Assembly would seem logical. Perhaps the trip could include some general audiences or other gatherings, whether in the New York area or elsewhere in the US.
