In this Facebook video, Ben Shapiro talks about why he's leaving California, the state he was born in, lived in all his life, and loves as one of the most beautiful places in the world. Massachusetts isn't that bad yet, but it's making noises in that direction.
I watched about 2 minutes of it, and while there is a problem with homelessness here, his rant strikes me as the usual NIMBY complaints I hear around here, from both the left and the right
Everyone here complains, and the church and its para ministries are the few who actually get anything done. Those stories he didn’t tell, of a church of 50 that friend pastors, whose retired folk lead a food bank that serves 300 people a week, even during COVID, and has baptized several of them over the last 6 months.
Or the churches that are struggling to find ways to keep their childcare facilities open, so that essential worker can have a place where their kids are safe and are learning.
Shapiro will find things to complain about in Tennessee, I am sure. For he expects heaven on earth…..and that won’t happen until the New Jerusalem descends
