I have a beloved godchild in serious need of prayer. Rebekah is 6 months old, the youngest of a large, faithful Catholic family. Tonight she is in intensive care with bacterial meningitis; she is not doing well. Please pray for her and her family. Ask others to pray if you are so moved. Thank you.

This same illness struck my son when he was 5 months old. I am now praying nonstop that Rebekah (who shares a name with my oldest child!) will beat this and be unscathed. The doctors painted a very grim future then, and through the power of prayer and medicine my son Jimmy is now 4 and thriving.
