Nova Scotia: Fish, fog and ferries

It’s ironic that on the one-year anniversary of Melanie and I heading off the Nova Scotia for our honeymoon, the Boston Globe prints a travel story about a couple going to some of the exact same places we traveled on our trip. We took the Cat Ferry out of Bar Harbor to Yarmouth, stayed in Annapolis Royal and Wolfville and Halifax, visited the Grand Pre National Historic Site, and ate at the Tempest restaurant. Reading the article brought back great memories and has me itching to go back and visit again.

I have to say that Nova Scotia and Prince Edward Island are excellent places to go for vacation, especially when it’s unbearably hot here in the US, and they’re nowhere near as crowded as even the coast of Maine gets.
