For the very many of you who have emailed me to let me know that the Diocese of Kansas City is looking for a new editor for their diocesan newspaper, I very much appreciate the heads up. In fact, I did see it on the excellent CatholicJobs.com web site.
And I’m very grateful that so many of you are considerate enough to remember that I’m still looking for a full-time job.
Bishop Finn sounds like a great bishop who’s doing wonderful things in Kansas City and I think working for him would be very gratifying.

Bishop Finn is great. Go for it.
We need you here!!!
I would have emailed it too, but I figured wolftracker would have already done so and didn’t want to crowd. But you are the first person I thought of when I read the ad.
They are also looking for editors in Rhode island and Long Island. Go to indeed.com and type in search terms Catholic and editor.
Thanks Patrick, I’m aware of those two already too and have taken appropriate action.
Good luck and Merry Christmas, Dom & family. I say a little prayer every day before I check your blog – I pray that the lead blog will be “I have been hired for my dream job!” or something like that!
If you think it will do any good, I’ll send a letter of recommendation.
Prayers, and thanks for the link!!
I’m looking for a new job right now. My family *needs* to move, pronto, for a number of reasons (some of them life-threatening). We’ve decided that Charlotte looks like an ideal place for our needs right now, so we’re targeting that area. But if a jbo presents itself somewhere else between now and the first of February, we’ll move there.
Kansas City sounds fun.

You’ll have to work on your festschrift abilities a bit, I think…
