Dappled Things in print

Dappled Things, the online Catholic literary journal, is now going into print. Subscriptions for a print version of the journal are now being taken at their site.

This is an important milestone in the magazine’s history and represents the efforts of our contributing writers, artists, donors, friends, and staff. In a very real sense, this magazine belongs to all the people like you who have helped us reach this important goal.

There is simply no other magazine like Dappled Things. The work of our talented writers and artists — always inspired by the Catholic tradition — not only nurtures the mind but also the soul and the imagination.

They’re also accepting submissions for their first printed issue. The deadline is April 16.

  • Have to admit I’m a little frustrated by “Dappled Things”.  I’m over their age limit, but not exactly a well-known Catholic author… just struggling to get to a point where I can get a novel published.  It’s all very well and good to say you want new Catholic authors… but that doesn’t mean all of them will be young!  Some of us have spent our youth changing diapers and driving carpools, and only now have time to write with the (?) wisdom that comes from these experiences…

That said, the writing is great and I wish them the best!
