Dads, tips for watching weekend sports

Dads, tips for watching weekend sports

Tips for dads who just want to watch the game in peace. Remember those bachelor days when you ensconced your butt in the sofa on Saturday or Sunday (or both!) and watched baseball, football, NASCAR, basketball, soccer, and golf? Sometimes all in one day!

Oh, those days are long gone. But you can still weasel your way back into an occasional game with these tips from the guys at the Dad Labs. I especially like the Longhorn board book idea.

“Bella, say, ‘hook-‘em horns!’ Um, yeah, close enough.”

  • Classic.  Thanks Dom.  The sleeping baby is the best.  works every time.

My two year old was confused about me talking on the phone when the game was one.  He asked if I was “talkin’ to Vikings?”  Obviously I wasn’t because I wouldn’t have been so calm if that were the case.

  • I have it figured out.  The easiest way to watch a game for me is to IRON while watching.  I can get three shirts done in a 3.5 hour NFL game!

    OBTW:  GIG’EM AGGIES!
