No matter how hard I think the trivia question is, somebody seems to get it within minutes of me posting it.
Yesterday’s question was “Tolkien based Treebeard’s way of speaking, with its “hrum, hroom,” on what person alive at the time Tolkien wrote it? ” And the answer is: Fellow Inkling C.S. Lewis, who as Richard said, based his Professor Ransom character in the Space Trilogy on Tolkien. I guess turnabout is fair play.
Now for today’s question let’s venture into “The Silmarillion”: “What did Melkor do with the Silmarils after he stole them?”
