That really was a 24-hour bug. After I posted yesterday, I got sicker and sicker, started running a temperature and feeling more and more miserable until I went to bed. Then I woke up this morning and felt, if not 100%, then about 85%.
Poor Melanie, who never got as sick as I was, is still feeling about how she did yesterday. Which is better: quick but intense or drawn-out but less intense? I think I’ll take quick and intense.
We must have picked it up from one of my nieces or nephews on Easter Sunday, all of whom have been sick and all of whom were jumping on me at one time or another.
I don’t get sick very often and for that I’m very grateful. But when I do get sick, it knocks me flat. I’m glad to be up and around again.
