Who would do this?

Who would do this?

Thieves entered a Catholic church in California last weekend and stole a ciborium holding the Eucharist and nothing else. There were no signs of forced entry, the key to the tabernacle is missing, and nothing else was taken.

Who would have access to the key and the church? Perhaps a lay minister of Holy Communion. Why would someone steal the Eucharist? I could see Satanists using Good Friday as an opportunity to practice their evil rituals. That’s just a guess, but it’s my fear. It would be good to pray in reparation for sins against the Eucharist today especially.

  • I once witnessed an attempt by an apparent Satanis to steal the Eucharist at an Easter Vigil Mass. A strangely dressed girl in her twenties approached the priest for Communion. After receiving it, she tried to discreetly put it in her pocket. A devout Catholic friend of mine who witnessed the act lept from the pew and she literally grabbed the girl by her arm, took her back to the priest, and made her give it back to him. The strangely dressed girl then left the Church.

Another friend of mine who had not witnessed the event recalled lifting his head up from prayer with a great sense of the presence of evil as this girl walked by him on her way out of the church. When he found out that this same girl had just tried to steal the Eucharist, everything became clear.

    Saint Michael, defend us!

  • Catholics may have forgotten the value of the Euchrist.  Researching Satanism will quickly refresh the memory.  Satanists have no doubt of Its value.

  • That’s right Carrie, Satanists absolutely know the difference between consecrated and unconsecrated hosts.  They also know that they cannot consecrate the hosts themselves.
