Fox Radio host Tony Snow has announced he has cancer and will be leaving the airwaves indefinitely while he fights it. He said his doctors gave him a good prognosis. Snow used to be the host of “Fox News Sunday” and before that he was the regular fill-in host for Rush Limbaugh. It was on Limbugh’s show in 1997 that Snow announced the breaking news about Mother Teresa’s death and I remember he gave a very moving tribute to her, acknowledging her spiritual gifts that were an integral part of her charitable work. At the time I thought it was an excellent understanding for a non-Catholic. [Update: I’m told Tony is Catholic. My mistake.]
I will certainly keep him in my prayers.
I will pray for him and ask Mother Terasa to ask almighty God to heal him of this cancer.
He is a great person to listen to because he has a pleasant voice and a way of engaging opposing callers in a real dialogue.
God bless him in the fight of his life. His prognosis sounds good.

Tony is Catholic.
He is a great guy, my #1 favorite radio host. No one speaks more eloquently of the joys of fatherhood and family than Tony.
May the Good Lord see fit to provide Tony with a quick recovery!
Tony is Catholic.
I had a feeling when I wrote it that I was wrong. Thanks for clearing that up. I’m going to edit the entry to remove the reference.
