The conservative, independent weekly newspaper Mass News reveals the part of the Massachusetts gay-marriage issue that we don’t hear about in other places. For one thing, three of the seven judges, all of them liberals, of the Mass. Supreme Judicial Court say that Chief Justice Margaret Marshall completely exceeded her authority as justice and that it’s not just her decision is wrong, but that she has no right to make the decision at all.
And others are also saying that Marshall has been publicly advocating for gay marriage for years, that this has been on her agenda all along.
By the way, Marshall was appointed by a Republican governor.
Forty nine? What about Maine, Vermont, Rhode Island, Connecticut, New York, New Jersey … Sadly the list goes on.
