Will John Kerry become another Adlai Stevenson, who was the unsuccessfull Democratic contender against Dwight Eisenhower in 1952 and 1956?
Or maybe he will become the Democratic equivalent of Harold Stassen, who unsuccessfully ran against Franklin Delano Roosevelt in 1936 and became a perennial candidate thereafter, never again getting the Republican nomination?
Oh, that would be terrible! I don’t know if we could beat him next time!
“What I’ve said is I’m not opening any doors, I’m not shutting any doors.”
Same old John – trying to have it both ways… Of course it could be a finger in the eye to HRC – keep her guessing and off balance. Then he does have that war chest to play with…
If he does decide to run, watch for someone to suggest that Karl Rove is behind it…!
At least he is still living as much in the real world as he always has.
Did you know he was an altar boy?
I also read somewhere that he was in Vietnam.
But he was an altar boy on Sundays: what did he do the other days?
You guys are brutal! I love it!
Wow. Keep those Massachusetts weirdos coming. Good for the GOP; easy to beat.
John recently adopted three different positions on the wind farm down off of Cape Cod … and has offered at least four different and conflicting reasons why he lost the election. He’s in rare form.
If his thinking represents the thinking of Democrats then they are in trouble. They have no idea why they lost.
Time to get to work showing Latinos, Jews, Catholics and African-Americans that this party has left them. I can still name the Democrat’s core constituency .. but won’t do so in polite company.
