If you read carefully, it’s not a weekend Mass, it was a Mass on a Thursday at noon which made it convenient for students and employees at the dental school.
And I don’t know what things are like in Missouri, but I’ve never heard anyone complaining about local hospital Masses of any sort. We have a Carmelite chapel in our local Mall that has Masses every day and none of the pastors complain about it. In fact, they praise it for offering times for confession during the week and Masses for workers at times when the parish priests aren’t available.
