You must read this woman’s first-person account of getting out of the World Trade Center on 9/11. It is gripping, frightening, and amazing, especially since it is not written by a professional writer, but simply a bystander, a witness.
We need to hear more of these stories so that we don’t forget, especially the individual people, not just the dead, but the survivors too, all of them victims.
