Well, what do you know? Saddam did have links to terrorism. Of course, the conventional “wisdom” is such that the facts will have a difficult time making headway against perception. Just like you haven’t seen the mass media saying anything about the fact that WMD have been found in Iraq.
Sure we’ve seen something in the mass media. We’ve seen the NYT explaining how sorry they were for believing in WMDs last spring now that we all know there aren’t any …. because sarin is irrelevant and it was just a trace anyway and the mustard gas didn’t go off and the chemicals in Jordan couldn’t possibly have come from Iraq and I forget what else they said.
