Speaking of Ted Kennedy, remember the fawning profile in the Boston Globe magazine last year that included this bizarre quote?
If she had lived, Mary Jo Kopechne would be 62 years old. Through his tireless work as a legislator, Edward Kennedy would have brought comfort to her in her old age.
Well, the author of the piece, Charles R. Pierce, has actually received an award for the article. Just another illustration of the disconnect between the liberal media and the rest of the world. (By the way, the Globe responded to the complaints with more non sequiturs.)
Charles Pierce was also the piece of work who penned a poison pen review of orthodox Catholics in another Boston Globe Magazine article.
