Live2BHoly!

Live2BHoly!

Just a reminder for everyone within a few hours driving distance of Boston: On Saturday, August 9, on Salem Common, in Salem, Mass., we will be having the 2003 Live2BHoly Catholic family music festival, presented by Proud2BCatholic.com. This is a great event that starts at Noon and goes until 8 (or so) and features a lot of Catholic musical acts, Mass on the Common, adoration of the Blessed Sacrament in a special chapel tent, confessions, games, vendors of Catholic goods, and more.

This is the third year we’ve done this and it’s grown every year, becoming the largest Catholic music festival in the country. The amazing thing is that it’s completely organized by my brother-in-law Pete Campbell, in his spare time and funded completely by donations. He doesn’t even “sell” tickets because you can’t cordon off the Common. But he relies on ticket sales to fund the event which has an operating budget in the tens of thousands! So if you’re coming or bringing a group, go to the web site above and buy your tickets. And buying a ticket gives you a chance to win a car.

And if you can’t come, and even if you are, please pray for the success of the event, that the weather will be good and that enough funds will be raised to allow us to continue to hold this event in the future. Much great fruit has come from it for Salem and for those who attend and hopefully much more will come in the future.

  • This is a MUST BRING THE KIDS event.

We went last year as a family, and had a GREAT TIME!

There’s nothing like seeing thousands of faithful assembled in a “battle ground” city like Salem, MA singing the praises of the Lord.

Don’t only come, but bring EVERYONE YOU   KNOW!!!
