Jittery much?

Jittery much?

One cow out of the millions in the United States tested positive for mad cow disease and 8 Asian countries ban all cow products from the US. Don’t you think that’s little overkill? Thousands of people in Asia had SARS last year. We didn’t ban all Asians from entering the US. It’s almost like people want to be panicky.

  • I never said the US total bans weren’t overreaction either. In fact, Americans are probably more prone to overreaction than most others: shark attacks, SARS, flu deaths, etc., etc.

  • A guy on the radio yesterday who said he was something of an expert said that scientists don’t really know how it spreads and that a lot of what we think we know about it is simply the latest theory.
