In the Bettnet Discussion Forum, Charles Williams brings up the topic of the Byzantine Catholic Church (Ruthenian) and efforts to use “inclusive” lannguage in the Byzantine liturgy. He links to a couple of articles on this topic and some other liturgical issues in the Byzantine liturgy.
My own impressions of the Byzantine liturgy, although it was mainly among Maronites, was the beauty of the prayers and how dull and impoverished our own Latin-rite Novus Ordo prayers sounded in English.
