On Tuesday, PETA trotted out a blasphemous statue of a cow dressed as pope, holding a crosier with a crucified cow on it. In response to Catholic outrage, they’re response is basically to tell us to stuff it. Today, we hear that PETA has pulled an ad that spoofs Bruce Springsteen’s “Born in the USA” album “out of deference to the Boss.”
I wonder who it’s more important not to offend: the Boss or the Real Boss.
