Where is the condemnation?

I’m wondering why I haven’t heard anybody at the Vatican denounce the crimes against humanity perpetrated by Saddam Hussein’s regime in the past week like those I enumerated earlier: using women and children as human shields, holding families hostage to force men to fight, pretending to surrender then shooting at coalition troops, dressing as US troops and shooting their own soldiers who try to surrender, denying their own people access to humanitarian aid.

But then I suppose all that is the United States’ fault for forcing them to do all that.

I think we’re more likely to hear condemnation of the US for the alleged bombing of a marketplace in Baghdad or other human rights violations.

More double standards.
