On Thursday, the Vatican will release a document from the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith called “Considerations Regarding Proposals to Give Legal Recognition to Unions between Homosexual Persons.” I don’t expect anything radically new in it, just a restatement of the Church’s constant teaching on the matter, especially the Doctrinal Note from earlier this year and many of the Pope’s speeches over the past few years.
