The Diocese of Orange, CA, has decided not to discipline a priest on whose computer was found pornography that may be child porn. On the one hand, it is admitted that the images may have been inadvertently downloaded to the computer via pop-up ads or spam. I know that I’ve opened up seemingly innocuous emails to find only completely disgusting content and since my email address is all over the web, I get hundreds of spam messages a day. (The ambiguity is the reason why the local prosecutor isn’t pressing charges.)
