The Council of Parishes “service”

The Council of Parishes “service”

I’ve been told that the Council of Parishes group in the Archdiocese of Boston, the umbrella organization of people staging sit-ins in their closed churches, has said it has devised a “service” now in use at these “vigils” in place of the Mass. Now, I’m not sure if it’s a Communion service, for which you need permission of the ordinary anyway, or something else, but the longer this goes on, the further and further away from the Catholic Church these people go. They are, for all intents and purposes, a new Protestant denomination. Somebody’s got to do something about this soon or this is going to end up being a much larger problem than it already is.
