Ann Coulter, in her latest column, reviews the new book by David Limbaugh called “Persecution: How Liberals Are Waging War Against Christianity.” (Yes, he’s Rush’s brother.)
As she presents it, the book is a well-researched compendium of outrages that will make your blood boil, showing how not all religion, but just Christianity is singled out for discrimination by liberals, especially institutions controlled by liberals such as schools.
Read just the few examples, she gives in her column and you’ll understand the outrage. The thing is, most of the cases go further than even the activist courts have, with liberal bureaucrats enforcing anti-Christianity codes well beyond 1st Amendment separation of church and state precedents. For example, a child praying by himself over his lunch in school is perfectly legal even under the twisted intepretations of the Constitution by the courts, but in the book we see that he was hauled off to the principal and finally given detention for refusing to stop praying.
Yes, I think this book will go on my “to be read” list.
