I guess it’s symbolic of the winter we’ve been having (it certainly isn’t spring yet), but the Red Sox home opener has been postponed until tomorrow. But then we’re expected to get more cold rain tomorrow too. The home opener is usually a harbinger of spring in the long-suffering, cold Northeast, and the delay of the game only gives my cabin fever a negative boost. Sigh. Maybe tomorrow.
