The Red Sox were supposed to play their home opener this afternoon and then today’s regularly scheduled game tonight in a day-night doubleheader. But they postponed this afternoon’s game, although they will still play tonight’s. That means that the true beginning of Spring (as red-blooded Bostonians mark it) is only 5 hours away. Play ball!
