Speaking of real nuns

Rod Dreher writes in today’s Wall Street Journal about two cloistered nuns who working for abuse victims without leaving their cloister on the top of a Kentucky mountain. Not only are they praying for the victims, showing them the comfort that they were not getting elsewhere in the Church, they are also shaking things up by saying that honors accorded to abusive priests, and the bishops who protected them, should be rescinded. I certainly agree that the photo of former Bishop Anthony O’Connell, who resigned after admitting abusing a teenager, should be removed from parochial schools. That’s just creepy.
