Maybe if the moral arguments aren’t working we can use this one: “Birth control pills are bad for the environment.”
I think we’ll have plenty of envronmentalists jump on board for this one, don’t you think? The crux of the story is that excess estrogen is being flushed down the toilet and into the environment where male fish are beginning to develop female characteristics. (I think the same thing happens in human populations with males who hang out too much with women who use the pill; they develop female characteristics, too.)
