Yesterday I asked you all to pray for my friend’s 3-year-old son who fell out of bed and fractured his skull and ear drum. Just to let you know, he has been moved out of ICU to his own room, and apart from being grumpy from being poked and prodded by doctors and getting no sleep, he’s doing okay. I don’t know if his hearing is okay although I’m told he’s getting more tests today. And he may even go home tomorrow. Thanks for all the prayers.
Now, to another prayer request. Another friend, a guy I worked for about 3 years ago, has a 4-year-old daughter who has been admitted to the hospital suddenly. At first they thought it was appendicitis, but now they say it is some kind of toxic shock syndrome that is so rare you have a better chance of getting hit by a meteor than contracting it. And she has a less than 50-50 chance of surviving. In addition, the family is going through other serious difficulties and while some of his friends are stepping in to help out, they still need prayers. So please any prayers you can offer for the McKay family would be appreciated.
