Other than that, Mrs. Lincoln, how was the play?

The choir director of a suburban Chicago Catholic church killed his gay lover and was convicted of the crime. At the sentencing hearing, there were two character witnesses. Both of them worked at the Catholic parish; one of them is a priest.

The victim was killed in 1999 in upstate New York. The killer turned himself earlier this year, but waited until Easter Monday to do so. Had to get those last Easter Sunday “performances” in before facing his murder rap. Nice to see his priorities were in order.

There’s just so much wrong with this story.
