She may now be the most infamous Catholic politician in the country right now. Gov. Jennifer Granholm received an invitation to the opening of the new headquarters for the Michigan Catholic Conference. Some may say that it’s only proper for the highest-ranking politician in the state to attend, but would it not have been a more fitting lesson for all people, Catholic and non-Catholic, pro-life and pro-abortion, had she not been invited?
Of course, she even acknowledges her own problems with the Church in her remarks.
