A New York Times editorial on the Scandal points out that with the latest disclosures from Manchester, NH, we have yet another case of obfuscate, protect, and control from a bishop and his immediate circle. They also point out the continuing attempts to obfuscate and delay in Boston and Los Angeles.
The point is that while we have the Dallas policy to deal with pervert priests and accusations by victims, what we don’t have is a policy to deal with bishops and priests who caused and continue this Scandal and continue to damage the faith of Catholics and potential Catholics alike.
