My brother-in-law asked me this one: Is it okay for anyone other than a priest or deacon to speak/preach during an Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament? I know it’s not appropriate during Mass, but exposition is not the Mass. My first reaction is that there is not forbidden, but I would have to drag out my canon law and liturgy books to be sure.
I thought perhaps one of my readers would be able to help me avoid that onerous task. It’s just so much easier to ask here first.
