The LA Times has printed an unusual correction... to a photo. After a particular photo that appeared to show a British soldier threatening an Iraqi man carrying a child was published on the front page, editors noticed some funny business, namely that some people showed up twice in it. They contacted the staff photographer in Iraq and he admitted to combining two photos to “improve the composition.” I call it changing the “facts” to suit your bias.
