Humanae Vitae conference

For readers in the local area, there will be a Humanae Vitae conference in Manchester, New Hampshire on October 25.

The conference is called “God’s Plan for Life”, and takes place Saturday, October 25th, 2003, at Ste. Marie Parish Gym, 281 Cartier Street, Manchester, NH, from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm.  Below is the flyer retyped:

The conference speakers will help you to understand and appreciate the great truths revealed in the encyclical Humanae Vitae.  Learn how our refusal to live by these truths for the past 30 years has impacted society and humanity worldwide. 

God’s Plan for Life:  Brian Murphy, Ph.D.
Founder and Chairman of God’s Plan for Life, Brian employs knowledge, experience, and passion to reveal God’s beautiful plan for life.  Brian discussed Gospel of Life issues on “St. Joseph Radio Presents,” a call in talk show broadcast worldwide via EWTN.

The Role of Conscience:  Fr. Matthew Habiger, OSB, Ph.D.
Fr. Habiger joyfully shares with the faithful God’s plan for live, life, fertility, marriage, and the family.  He has proclaimed the Gospel of Life worldwide and currently directs retreats at St. Benedict’s Abbey, Atchison, Kansas.

Living Humanae Vitae:  Fr. Daniel McCaffrey, STD
Father McCaffrey is the most accomplished preacher of our time in the teachings of Humanae Vitae and has worked in the Apostolate of Marriage enrichment, establishing successful Natural Family Planning programs nationwide through NFP Outreach based in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

The priest/deacon/seminarian program is free, and goes longer, beginning Thursday night with a social with the presenters, and has time for discussions and breakfast, lunch and dinner.  It runs from 9:00 am to 5:30 pm.
