Here’s a weird one. A man who is suing the diocese of Worcester, Mass., alleging abuse is now also suing the local district attorney’s office. He says the DA’s office told the diocese that he has AIDS. I’m not sure what any of that has to do with the case, although I’m told by several people in that area that the man’s case against the diocese, alleging abuse by Auxiliary Bishop George Rueger, is very weak and they have their doubts about it.
