I forgot to mention earlier that today is the Feast of the Annunciation (exactly nine months away from Christmas.) I like to call it the Feast of the Incarnation, because if we believe that unborn children are fully human beings, then this is the day that Jesus Christ took on human flesh and God entered the world as one of us. In many South American countries, this is an official state holiday called National Day of the Unborn or something similar.
Our Lady of the Annunciation, we ask you to intercede for us to end the scourge of abortion. Pray for us.
