My neighbor, Herb Mackey, is a great guy. He owns a lot of the heavy equipment that does the snowplowing around Salem. He was greatly moved by the the picture I gave him of the Pope with my nephew John Paul.
So during every snow storm, Herb comes by with his plow to take the huge snowbanks out from the front sidewalk and the back driveway. Here he is today:
What a guy! Especially considering that I’m so sore from yesterday that I can’t grip a shovel today.
