What is the Democrat Party to do? Next summer they’re holding their national presidential convention in the state that just mandated gay marriage. Of course, most Americans see gay marriage as a sop to the radical left and extreme position. And now the DNS has chained itself to the issue even as it and its presidential candidates try to shake off its significance. Ironically, the Mass. Supreme Court’s decision could be good news for President Bush as the Democrats are saddled with trying to please their extreme left base while appealing to the average voters. The contortions are fun to watch.
