Canadian thugs attack American kids

A group of 12- and 13-year-old kids from the Boston area were attacked by Canadian anti-war protesters in Montreal. The kids, part of a trip by youth hockey teams, were in Montreal last week for a tournament. When they arrived at their hotel, they were treated to an anti-American protest where the Iraqi flag was cheered and the American flag was burned. If that weren’t enough, each time the kids went out on the bus, emblazoned with the bus company’s name “Coach USA”, they were booed and given the middle finger. Even during their games with Canadian kids’ teams, they were booed and the Canuck kids cursed them and made anti-US comments.

Here are comments made by some of the parents:

Said Stewart, “I couldn’t understand it. We’ve done so much for the Canadians. The kids were shocked and upset. It’s going to be a long time before I go back.”

Reid said the most recent trip convinced him to stay away in the future. “They like our money, but they don’t like us,” Reid said.

Carpenter said he is canceling plans to go to Quebec City this summer with his family as a result of the treatment this weekend.

“Forget it, we won’t go back,” he said.

Nadeau agreed.

“I may go to another province, but I would never go back to Montreal,” he said.
