Bravo to Bishop Nicholas Dattilo of Harrisburg, Penn. He has taken the unpopular stand of telling Catholics not to participate in a fundraiser that indirectly supports a condom program in Africa. The event organizers and other church’s involved have hard things to say about the bishop. Some people are saying that such a tiny amount of funds go to the condoms while a lot of it goes to local food pantries. Even so, as the youth minister interviewed says, “The ends don’t justify the means.”
