The Boston Globe has won some journalism awards for reporting on the Scandal. Of course, they still want the big one—the Pulitzer.
Last year, when all this started, I mentioned that a friend told me he had a conversation with a Globe editor who told him that they were pushing for Cardinal Law to resign because only then would they get their Pulitzer. It’s nice to see that they had altruistic goals of the betterment of society and justice for victims behind their reporting.
