A woman has filed suit against her diocese, various officials, a lay religious ed teacher she says molested and impregnated her then took her for an illegal abortion. The woman claims her brother, a Catholic priest, killed himself last year after the diocese agreed to strip the alleged molester of his duties in the parish and she blames the failure to do so for her brother’s suicide. But then it’s not clear the diocese didn’t remove the alleged abuser from any position in his parish.
