You have to read The Iraq Travelogues by Rich Galen. He’s a civilian employee of the Defense Department who’s been in Iraq since November. His job is to help reporters cover stories about soldiers for their hometown media.
The travelogues will give you an inside look at what it’s really like in Iraq and it will make you laugh, cry, and ponder. Galen is hilarious. I hope he writes a book when he gets back.
