Fox News Channel has a web page that details all kinds of connections between the Maryland/Virginia snipers and al Qaeda. None of it is solid, but it brings up a lot of questions. For instance, Muhammad made a lot of trips to Antigua even while he was living in homeless shelters. Shoe bomber Richard Reid was on a flight to Antigua and even had Jamaican connections, plus Antigua is known as a haven for shady financial dealings.
Also, the leader of a mosque in Seattle who worked as an auto mechanic in Tacoma, Washington, was arrested in July on suspicion he was running a training camp for terrorists—including sniper training. Muhammad also worked as a mechanic in Tacoma.
And there’s a lot more. Sometimes of suspicious coincidence is ... just coincidence. Sometimes it’s not. I have a feeling that there is a lot more to this story.
