A cautionary tale

Back in the summer of 2002, David Arndt, a prominent surgeon at a Boston hospital, left a patient on the operating room table to go cash his paycheck. The event got national headlines and he was suspended from his practice. The Board of Medicine started investigating him. About a month later, another bombshell: Arndt was arrested on charges of child rape, drug possession, and drugging a person for sexual intercourse. It was a 15-year-old boy.
