A lot of people we’re talking to seem to think that the Vatican said no to bankruptcy protection for the Archdiocese of Boston. And we’re also hearing that if Law’s resignation happens, it will be tomorrow or Friday when he meets with the Pope. That’s no surprise as the Boston Globe said as much today. The interesting angle is that apparently Cardinal Law will be offering again and it is entirely up to what the Pope thinks at this point.
